SCSUG 2012 Student Scholarship Program


The South Central SAS Users Group (SCSUG) is offering Student Scholarships for current students to attend the 2012 SCSUG Educational Forum, which will be held November 5-6, 2012 in Houston, Texas. The Student Scholarships include a waived registration fee, hotel accommodations for two nights (room and tax only), a travel stipend and one half-day pre- or post-conference training session. Individuals who meet the ELIGIBILITY criteria below are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

ELIGIBILITY:
  • Must be a full or part-time college student (undergraduate or graduate) using SAS in coursework or on the job
  • Must be able to provide a professor's contact information as a reference
  • Must be enrolled in classes during the semester of the conference (Fall 2012)
  • Must be able to provide a valid student ID or proof of enrollment

Important Details:
  • Deadline to apply is September 24, 2012.
  • Notifications will be made by September 26, 2012.
  • Please be prepared to provide a headshot by September 28, 2012 if you are notified as a winner. This picture will be used to showcase the Student Scholarship winners at the 2012 SCSUG Educational Forum.
  • Award recipients are expected to attend all days of the conference and volunteer at the forum.
