The South Central SAS Users Group (SCSUG) is offering Student Scholarships for current students to attend the 2012 SCSUG Educational Forum, which will be held November 5-6, 2012 in Houston, Texas. The Student Scholarships include a waived registration fee, hotel accommodations for two nights (room and tax only), a travel stipend and one half-day pre- or post-conference training session. Individuals who meet the ELIGIBILITY criteria below are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be a full or part-time college student (undergraduate or graduate) using SAS in coursework or on the job
- Must be able to provide a professor's contact information as a reference
- Must be enrolled in classes during the semester of the conference (Fall 2012)
- Must be able to provide a valid student ID or proof of enrollment

Important Details:
- Deadline to apply is September 24, 2012.
- Notifications will be made by September 26, 2012.
- Please be prepared to provide a headshot by September 28, 2012 if you are notified as a winner. This picture will be used to showcase the Student Scholarship winners at the 2012 SCSUG Educational Forum.
- Award recipients are expected to attend all days of the conference and volunteer at the forum.
